WE MOVED OUR ENTIRE INFRASTRUCTURE TO CANADA

We've completed a full migration to 100% Canadian-hosted, Canadian-owned infrastructure. Every website, every database, every service we run is now on Canadian soil, with Canadian companies.

Why this matters

Canada is our home. Our team is here, our community is here, and we think the infrastructure powering our products should reflect that. There are real practical reasons to care about where your data lives too, from privacy protections under Canadian law to the straightforward principle that a Canadian community platform should be built on Canadian ground.

This wasn't the easiest path. It would have been cheaper and simpler to stay with large international providers. We chose not to.

What we moved

Everything that makes up TitanReach Media and Hyperion Radio, our websites, databases, application servers, and backend services, now runs entirely on Canadian-owned infrastructure. If you're using any of our products, your data is staying in Canada.

Three honest exceptions

We want to be upfront about three components that remain with non-Canadian providers.

Our audio stream is hosted by Streamerr, a UK-based company whose streaming servers run in Europe. Delivering high-quality, uninterrupted audio around the clock is a specialized challenge and Streamerr is the right tool for it. We looked hard for a Canadian alternative that met our quality bar and didn't find one.

Our content delivery network is powered by Bunny.net, which distributes our content globally for fast load times wherever our listeners are. A CDN that only served Canada would mean a slower experience for listeners outside the country, and that's not a compromise we're willing to make.

We also use Twilio for SMS, but only when a listener chooses to text us a request. If you never text in, Twilio never touches your data. It's a one-way door that only opens when you knock.

We think these are reasonable exceptions and we'd rather be honest about them than pretend they don't exist.

What this means for you

If you're a listener, a community member, or just someone who cares about where their data goes, you can feel good about using our products. We're committed to Canada and this is one of the ways we're backing that up with action.
