WHO WE ARE
Hyperion was the Titan of Light — one of the elder gods who carried the heavens on his shoulders. We borrowed his name for a reason.
Good music carries weight. It fills the silence, moves with you, and makes the road feel shorter. Hyperion Radio is a free, community-run internet radio station built and operated out of Canada — for the people who are always moving.

We started as a station for the flight and truck simulation community. Pilots, virtual truckers, long-haul enthusiasts who spend hours in the cockpit or cab and need a soundtrack that actually holds up. That community is still at the heart of what we do, and we've grown around it.

MEET THE TEAM
Hyperion Radio is run by real people, not an algorithm. Here's who's behind it.
MATT
Co-Founder & Technical Director
Matt co-founded Hyperion Radio with a simple idea: build a real radio station — live shows, real hosts, real personality — and give it away for free. Based in Edmonton, Canada, he's hands-on across everything that keeps the station running, from the broadcast infrastructure to the on-air lineup.
Matt's love of radio goes hand-in-hand with his love of the open road — long hauls in trucking sims like American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 shaped a lot of what Hyperion is: music and shows built for people who have the road, a shift, or a long stretch of focus ahead of them. What started as a station for a small community has grown into something bigger, but the mission hasn't changed — good radio, made by real people, free for anyone who wants to listen.
ZACH
Co-Founder & Program Manager
Zach co-founded Hyperion Radio and runs the programming side of the operation — which mostly means he's the guy deciding what gets played, who's hosting what, and occasionally settling rock-vs-country arguments in the group chat (rock usually wins, but only because he's the one arguing).
When he's not building out the schedule, Zach's probably outside — he lives on a farm, so "commute" for him is more of a "walk past the barn." Between the wide open space and the even wider music library, it's safe to say Zach knows a thing or two about giving people something good to listen to while they've got miles to go, chores to do, or nothing to do at all.
